Seminole has never stood still — always growing, always adapting, and always putting students first.
From its start in 1902 as Sanford High School, Seminole has always been built on a bold vision for the future. What began as a small school quickly grew alongside the Sanford community, evolving through multiple campuses before becoming the Seminole High School we know today.
For more than a century, growth has defined Seminole — not just in size, but in opportunity. Today, that legacy continues through rigorous academics, including Advanced Placement, the Academy of Health Careers and International Baccalaureate programs, alongside career pathways that prepare students for what’s next.
