The Auto Collision & Refinishing Assistant program gives students the chance to turn curiosity about cars into real-world expertise. Beginning as early as 9th grade, students learn how to repair, restore, and refinish vehicles using professional equipment and industry techniques. From dent repair and panel replacement to paint preparation and refinishing, each course builds hands-on experience that mirrors what happens in professional auto body shops.
Through Auto Collision & Refinishing Assistant 1–4, students progress from foundational skills to advanced repair techniques, gaining confidence, craftsmanship, and problem-solving abilities along the way. Whether your goal is to enter the workforce, pursue industry certifications, or continue into advanced automotive training, Seminole prepares you with practical experience and career-ready skills.

The Automotive Maintenance & Light Repair program is designed for students who want to understand how vehicles work—and how to keep them running at their best. Starting as early as 9th grade, students gain hands-on experience diagnosing problems, performing routine maintenance, and learning the systems that power today’s vehicles.
Through Automotive Maintenance & Light Repair 1–6, students build a strong foundation in automotive technology while progressing into more advanced service and

repair techniques. From oil changes and brake systems to electrical diagnostics and engine performance, students work with professional-grade equipment and industry practices used in today’s automotive service centers.
Each level deepens technical knowledge, builds problem-solving skills, and prepares students for industry certifications, postsecondary training, or direct entry into the automotive workforce.
