As of right now, the deadline for turning in Community Service or paid work hours, and documentation for Bright Futures is still May 1st. If you need to turn your paperwork in, make sure you have all the required pieces together and email them to your school counselor.

The three pieces you must include are: the approved service plan for each organization where you volunteered or worked, the hours log(s), and a reflective essay. The hours log(s) should reflect the combined total required for whatever level of Bright Futures you are applying for. For instance, 30 hours for GSV or GCV, 75 hours for FMS, or 100 hours for FAS. Further information on Bright Futures specific questions can be found at https://www.floridastudentfinancialaidsg.org/ .

Information on Seminole High School specific documentation can be found at http://www.seminolehs.scps.k12.fl.us/academics/volunteer-service-program.stml.

Once all documents have been verified and approved, they will then be added to your transcript. Please give 2-3 days for the addition to the transcript.
